Outfall Pipline of the South Pars Refinery Phases 9 & 10

Waste water of the refinery Phases 9 & 10 of South Pars Gas Fields with a flow rate of 3 m³/s is discharged to the deep sea water (10 m depth) according to the environmental rules and regulations via outfall underground pipeline.

About 5 km of the pipeline is located onshore and 1km is the offshore part which is placed on the sea bed.

They are double layered HDPE pipes with KRAH German Specifications. These pipes were joined together by electro-fusion and extrusion welding.
